I was booking train ticket in online from Ahmedabad(ADI) to Varanasi(BSB) in BSB Express journey date ON 07/03/2013, Booking Date 9/01/2013 at that time page was expired, my ticket hasn't booked but amount got deducted from my UBI account (Debit card). Amount deduced is 1308.74

We planned to go to Guntur, the starting week of this month and my Dad wrote the Railway Pass, but unfortunately couldn't make it to have a trip and we didn't book the tickets yet. So now we are planning to cancel the Pass. My question to you is that if we cancel the pass, will that Railway Pass be wasted or can we take a fresh pass by cancelling the previous one if we want to go out of station. Since already one pass has been gone in the month of January, so i want to ask that can we cancel this present Railway Pass which we wrote to Guntur since we didn't book the tickets yet and take a fresh pass, if we want to go out of station?

I tried to book Pune-Mumbai ticket by 12124 Deccan Queen Exp. by my office computer.
After I made the payment of Rs. 106 by debit card, I never received any e-ticket;
but the money was debited from my a/c.
Thinking there could be a problem on my part, I tried the same thing again after two hours, but the whole
procedure was repeated all over again & I lost another Rs. 106 without any reason.
Where can I lodge a complaint to at least get my money back, as I tried the regional number who said hey don't handle grievance redressal calls, gave me another number to call which was "non existent".
139 was the number I tried next, but that turned out 100% useless about lodging a complaint.

As many i too am a regular train user and for the booking and cancellation of train tickets use your web services. You might be aware that while booking tickets through your site irctc.co.in sometimes due to problems the transaction fails. In the process of which the price is deducted from our account which is later refunded. But to my great astonishment i have six settlement which are yet to be refunded this year. It was only recently that i became aware of the fact while rummaging through my account. Please suggest solution for the above.

I booked the ticket for myself and my cousin from MGS to HWH for the train 12308-JU HWH SUPFAST and from HWH to VSKP for the train Falkanuma EXP. but due to first train delay i missed the second train so is there any possibility to get that second train fare charges...
Regarding Very Poor Quality Food in Train and Misbehave

My self "Deepak Verma"doing job in Sahara India, Gurgaon. On dated 19AUG2012, I started my journey from Kota to Faridabad by "Golden Temple Mail " in AC 2 Tier, seat no. 19(LB) with PNR no. 8558780865. During afternoon I ordered a lunch in the Train Pantry (irctc) and i paid RS 60 for this lunch. After some time i got the lunch which was very poor in quality and without water glass. When I asked pantry boy for the water glass with the meal then he said to me there is no water glass with this food and also we are not providing Salad with the meal.
After this, I said that pantry boy go and sent your Pantry Manager to me because I want to talk with your Manager regarding this matter but he (Pantry Manager) did not come. I said to so many Pantry Boys Please send your Manager along with complaint book.
After 3 hours, Pantry Manager came (Mr. Dharmendra Singh) but without complaint book and started argue with me and at last he did not give me complaint book.
Mr.Harpreet Singh Sodhi (Chief Ticket Inspector, Ratlam) was there and seing this complete matter. I you have any doubt, you can asked him( Sodhi Sir).
Please do come corrective action over this and take action as soon as possible.

This is to bring to your notice that the train no.14311 Ala Hazrat Express at Ahmedabad runs on Wed, Fri, Sat & Sunday to Bhuj as per schedule shown on internet. But while booking a ticket from ahmedabad to bhuj on 21.10.2012 (SUNDAY) THE INFORMATION IS THE TRAIN DOES NOT RUN ON THAT DAY. HOW IS THAT ?
Please look into the matter and reply on my email so that the mistake can be corrected on your part and I book the ticket.

Dear Manager/Authority,
Its very sad situation at all main railway stations like delhi/pune/mumbai/HBD and other that there are no clean & easy private retiring/waiting rooms for connecting passengers.
If some family wants to travel from pune to rudrapur (uttaranchal) via delhi then there is gap of many hours. People want to become fresh/rest for few hours. Please try to eastablish PAID `public-private PARTNERSHIP ` ``Rest-room facility`` on hourly basis in all categories like Non AC/AC/DELUX.
On NZM railway station retireing rooms are congested & so dirty that any body will feel nauseated.
We are forced to take near by costly .Hotel.
Secondly coolie system should be changed to coupens system.For small bag 15 Rs. Medium bag Rs.20- Large bag 30 Rs. coupen should be issued at various counters & coolies should follow that.
Its (REST ROOMS)realy a great problem.

i face the problems there are so many agent at Mumbai central they cheat the passenger to saying that they will confirm the ticket they have the setup with railways official
and some official are also helping them, in my case they took 1200 Rs to confirm my ticket in 3rd ac and they gave me a tc name Sudhir Patel coach BX 1 seat 46 i seen there was no coach on that name i ask 02 T T where this coach are attached in this train they said yes walk forward then i met a passenger i was asking to coach attender where is BX1 coach then passenger told me beta you confirm your ticket from agent i said yes he told me forget that they cheated you then i went to sleeper class and travel as wait listed passenger, train attended told me everyday people like me coming in the train why government are not doing any thing on that.
at the time of my conversation i seen police official and railways official are talking to those agent.
so dear passenger please aware with those cheater

I had travel about 10 times in Doronto exp. Each time we got very poor quality of food provided by Irctc specially lunch & diner. I have been complaining Irctc Kolkata through mobile & also had discussed with pantry car manager Mr Banerjee but no result till now. Now I will be traveling with my family on 8/8/2012, (PNR no: 8104566491) in mumbai - howrah doronto exp. This time if I don't get better quality of food, I'll complain again.

Stopping Vaigai express train in srirangam

There are many people who are travelling from srirangam - madurai & from madurai to srirangam. Apart from that many people starts from chennai who are coming to srirangam gets down in trichy junction & takes a bus to reach srirangam. So it would be great if you could make some arrangement for stopping vaigai express in srirangam. Already this request has been raised to Divisional Railway Manager, Trichy. Hoping to get a positive response from you.

As we have only Mysore- Mayiladuthurai express which passes Trichy, Tamil Nadu. There are plenty of them who travels from Trichy to Bangalore & vice-versa. I kindly request you to consider this & take a necessary step in order to make people comfortable. This train can pass via Srirangam, Lalgudi, Ariyalur, Virdhachalam, Salem etc. We already had this special train an year before but unfortunately we lost that train (service/facility cancelled) though it produces good revenue. The worst part was the train service was cancelled just before the festival of Diwali.

My phone had been stolen on 29.06.2012 during my journey from Ambala to Bina in Malwa express (Indore-Jammuwati) near Jhansi. My coach no. was B1 and Seat no. - 18,20,21,22, as we were four members. It was 1.00am (approx.) at that time. One passenger came at that time and attendant of that coach whose name was Mannu Badoria came to attend that passenger. I suspect him for the theft of my mobile as no other person could enter in the coach. He also did counting of pillows and sheets at night time which was noticed by my mother and by that passenger, quite objectionable at that moment of time when all were sleeping. Therefore i request you to look at this matter as soon as possible so that these kind of thefts could be stopped in the train and kindly try to trace my mobile using its IMEI No : 352272052288577

i am travelling today 30/06/12 from KIR to NDLS starting at 16:15 by GHY RAJDHANI EXPRESS .
This train is started from Guwahati express at 07:05 , but it is still showing train chart is not prepared . how is it possible ? my ticket is WL 1 at 0830 am today 30.06.12 till now ?? how ??? Indian Railway is crap and you cant talk to anybody trough 139 , and if you call central or north railway they are not help ful . F****rss... not helpful at all ..

I can see many improvements and increase in efficiencies, thanks to some of Laloo Prasad's initiatives. I love traveling in India, especially through Kerala by train. I will continue to steer friends visiting India toward railway travel.
On May 18, one of my relatives forgot her carry-on baggage on the Kochuveli Express from Kochuveli to Bangalore. Though our initial efforts failed to turn up the item, a week later, she was very surprised and delighted to retrieve it. I would like to especially commend Air Conditioning Technician, Mr. Ajay Kumar, who maintained our coach, and was instrumental in working with the TTR in doing the needful. These two gentlemen made our railway trip a pleasant and memorable experience. Please pass on our grateful thanks to these two.

Changing coach number on E ticket
I booked online 2 tickets from Trivandrum to Calicut and another 1 ticket from Trivandrum to Ernakulam by two seperate bookings for Parasuram Express. But the coach number for Calicut passengers are CC1, whereas Ernakulam passenger is CC2. Hows it possible to make all 3 passenger to travel in same coach?

I have booked 3rd Ac two tickets online totalling to Rs. 790/-. They were waitlisted, when the tickets were booked. The date of journey passed by and the tickets were still on waitlisted. So, my assumption was, the amount of Rs. 790/-, would automatically be refunded to my online banking account. Does the amount would be credited back to my account ?
