State Bank of India (SBI)

  • By Contact No: You can call helpline No.  1800 180 1290 (toll free)or  1860 500 1290, 1860 180 1290/ 39 02 02 02 (call with local STD code)  & select your preferred language then Press 2 to report lost/stolen card.
  • SMS Service : SMS BLOCK XXXX (XXXX=last 4 digit of your SBI Credit Card) and send it to 5676791.
  • By Mobile App: You can block your credit card through Mobile App, Login to your account on SBI Card mobile app, Tap on “Menu” at the top left hand and click on "Service Request", Tap on "Report Lost/Stolen" card, Select the card number which is lost or stolen.
  • By SBI Card Online: Log in to your account on sbicard.com, Click on ‘Report Lost/Stolen Card’ under the ‘Requests’ tab on the left, Select the card number to report the lost card.

Punjab National Bank (PNB)

Canara Bank

  • Internet Banking: You can block your Credit Card using Canara Bank Internet Banking.

IndusInd Bank

  • By Contacts No: You can call 1860 267 7777 to block your Credit Card on the IVR.
  • By using IndusNet: Login to IndusNet- Click on Service Requests Tab- Select Credit Card Requests- Click on Credit Card Blocking Request- Select the Credit Card you wish to block, choose the reason and Submit.
  • By using IndusMobile App: Login to the IndusMobile App- Click on Service Request Tab on Credit Card Details Screen- Select the Credit Card you wish to block- Select Card Related Requests and Proceed- Select Block Credit Card
  • By using SMS: SMS BLOCK <SPACE> <Last 4 digits of your Credit Card Number> to 5676757 from your registered mobile number to block your Credit Card instantly.

Bank of Baroda

  • By Mobile app: Go to Menu & Select the 'Card Block' option and immediately block your card following the screen instructions.

HDFC Bank

  • By Contacts No: You can call 1800 258 6161 (24-hour helpline).
  • By NetBanking: Login to NetBanking - Click on Credit Cards tab and then on Credit Card Hotlisting on the left hand side -Click on the Credit Card number you wish to hotlist -Select reason for hotlisting.
  • Phone Banking: Validate your Telephone Identification Number (TIN)- This is a 4-digit number that is provided to you by HDFC Bank for accessing PhoneBanking Services -Follow the instructions to block or cancel your card.
  • By App: You can block your credit card through Mobile App.
  • By visiting your nearest HDFC Bank branch: During business hours, you can simply walk into the Nearest branch and get your HDFC credit card blocked.

Citi Bank
