Dear All,
I had purchased a HP laptop Sr.No4667309881, and since the day i have purchased the laptop i have been Incessantly following up with your represntative for the issue of my laptop getting heated and the battery not working as per the standard time.
There has been three visit for the said complaint from HP representative but the problem is not solved, again your company executive had informed us that he would be coming today by 1000 hrs to get the issue close but till time there is no one from HP nor did i received any call from HP.
Is this the service HP provides to its customer

The said printer are not working properly since 20 days. and I try to register the compliant on Toll free, but the complaint is not registered so far.

The worst part about HP support numbers is that the number they provide itself is INVALID.

As per the hp site the number for their support is 1800112267 (BSNL/MTNL lines within India), 30306363.
The 1800 number above has one digit less and its been published everywhere. Is HP hiding from customer support or what? The other one doesn't have an STD code. WOW... both cannot be a coincidence!

Request for help in retrieving my stolen HP Laptop

Dear Sir,
I have to state that I had purchased one HP Pavilion dm4 1029 Laptop from Origin Infomedia Pvt. Ltd., Pennar Road, Sakchi,Jamshedpur on 19.07.2010 with Invoice No. DIPL/01645/1011. I was travelling today in Bhagalpur-Anand Vihar Garib Rath train in 3AC coach No. G8/14. My bag containing the above mentioned Laptop ( Pavilion dm4 1029 TCNV0240G94) was stolen in between 3AM and 5AM near Allahabad for which an FIR (FIR No. 20110084 dated 07.12.2011 ) has already been lodged at Anand Vihar Rail Police Station, New Delhi . As this Laptop opens after reading finger impression password it is NOT possible for anyone to open and operate the said Laptop except the HP Service Center.
In the light of the above facts you are requested to kindly refuse any such request for opening & operating the said Laptop after taking the said Laptop in your possession and inform the undersigned as well as Anand Vihar Rail Police Station, New Delhi, about the fact of having the said Laptop in your possession.

My son Mr. Swapnil H.Pandey has purchased one H.P. laptop model dv4-2106tx from Baba Infotech,tilak road,Pune
invoice?dc no. TR/15502 on 16th March 2010. After 2 months(i.e.May '10) the laptop started giving troubles(constant irritating
beep sound). My son consulted your authorised service centre H.P.Simtech Pune. They kept the laptop under observation but
could not diagnose the fault. They were presented with the same issue 7-8 times hence laptop was most of the time with the
service centre. Somehow,in Jan'11, they changed the systemboard but the problem remained same. Thereafter in March 2011, they observed the
fault and repaired accordingly.This was all in warranty period. Again after a months(i.e. April'11) the laptop stopped working.
My son took it to service centre who have submitted a quotation no. 4635440530 for Rs.19,606 for changing the same part and
repairing.

My dear sir, at the time of purchase I had many options but I instructed my son to go for H.P. laptop with a trust that its
a good brand. Now I think it was my wrong decision. The frequent problems with the laptop and harresment accordingly has
changed my view. My purpose to write you this letter is to seek advice in this regard and to know who is responsible for this
problem/situation.

A) The manufacturer (H.P.) who has no control over quality.
B) The service engineers who could not find out the fault upto 10 months and still not sure that it will work properly
C) The customer- who wasted this valuable time taking rounds of your service centre and suffered mental irritation accordingly.

Your advice in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Hi.i hv purchased laserjet1020 plus on 22 feb 11 and thats in warranty. It was stolen a week back during diwali holidays from my home and home office and i called hp phone support today to inform and register a stolen report so any 1 who calls for the same printer in future can be tracked and requested the ph rep to put a red/stolen tag on my printer serial num... He refused to do say and told me that he will not open a case for it and told me to go to police whoch i already did. He said they will help me and that rep didnt bother to understand that i dint ask him to locate or find the thief and my printer but just take note of a ''stolen '' tag on this printer and create a case but he did not listen to me and said he cant do so and cant open a case ...

Dismal experience in an HP Outlet, HP World, City Centre

Recently I approached HP World, City Centre Saltlake, Kolkata as my HP desktop was not working. HP World, City Centre claimed that they also provide services. They took my computer and told me they will look at the problem and inform me the repairing cost over phone. After 10 days when I didn’t get any call from them I went to the shop again. I found my computer lying at the same in their shop as if nobody touched on it since I left it there. They told me that the motherboard will have to be replaced which will cost around Rs.6000/. Given the nature of the problem I was not very convinced about their diagnosis. I told them that I will take the computer and I don’t want this to be repaired by them. Then they asked me to pay Rs.500/ otherwise they will not allow me to take the computer. Then I had no choice but to pay them Rs.500/ to get back my computer.
Then I took the same computer to another computer service centre in BE block, Saltlake. They told me that this is a OS related problem and a reinstallation will solve the problem.
I would like to draw attention of HP about my ordeal in one of their authorized outlet. We respect the brand HP. If we get such treatment in a shop flaunting HP logo and HP World name in front of it, this will be a very disappointing experience from company like HP.

dissappointment with after sales service

I have registered a service request under warranty for my Compaq laptop and my case id is 4663817448. I am very disappointed. My laptop's display is a problem and I was told that the someone will come and replace the screen. The wrong part was sent twice and now there is no news from your end. I had made the request more than 3 weeks ago. Judging by the complaints on this page, I have no hope. I will make sure that I don't deal with you guys in the future and advice others around me to do the same.
It's a shame people are complaining openly and nothing is being done!

Pathetic service of HP

I purchased this HP Deskjet Ink Advantage All-in-One series K209a on 2 July 2011.

On 25th Aug 2011, I called up the HP service centre to lodge a complaint (req. no. 8053249760) to mention that the printer was blinking and not allowing me to print. I was instructed over the phone to open up the printer, remove the colour cartrige, and wipe it. He even instructed me to take a piece of cloth and wipe inside, which I did not do, in case I broke something. After putting the colour cartridge back, the printer was still blinking. The rep asked me to print a test page and tells me that the problem is with the cartridge. He tells me that the cartridge is an accessory and is not part of the printer. Therefore, I would have to physically take the colour cartridge along with my bill to Vikhroli or Andheri where they would examine it and decide what needs to be done. I tell him that I am staying in Navi Mumbai and I do not have the time to go and have the cartridge checked out, if even there is a problem with the cartridge. After much pleading he finally agreed to have someone sent over (onsite req. no. 3574114).

On Saturday 27th August, at around 5:50 pm, I got a call from their engineer saying that he was coming over to check the printer. We waited for him but he never showed up. He didn't even bother to inform us that he could'nt make it. No one showed up on Monday either. On Tuesday, I got a call again at noon saying that he would be coming in 1 - 1.5 hrs. After making several calls since that time and he finally showed up around 7:15 pm. He checked the printer, replaced the cartridge with one of his and showed me that it was indeed the cartridge that was at fault. He again told me that I have to take the cartridge to Vikhroli or Andheri to have it looked at. Or I could take it to my dealer.

Today, I went to Croma, Vashi (Dealer) from where we purchased this printer. They told us to speak with a co-ordinator, Santosh Patil at Vashi, HP service center. He very rudely tells us that they will not replace the cartridge. He also tells us that we have to take the cartridge to Vikhroli.

What I fail to understand, is, when HP has a service centre in Vashi, why is it that I am being asked to take the cartridge to Vikhroli. First of all, when their engineer came over (that too, after 5 days), it was his responsibility to take the cartridge with him and forward it to whichever dept. it needs to go. Why are HP categorizing this integral part of the printer as an accessory and apart from the printer. Can their printer function without it? That too, this cartridge (HP 703 Tri-color ink cartridge CD888A) is the same one that came with the printer when we purchased it. I had not even used up 10% of it.

It has not even been 2 months since purchasing this printer. And I am sure that I am covered to get this replacement. However they are just stalling and making me run from one service centre to another, so that I get frustrated and finally give up pursuing this matter.

I have even emailed Mr. Rakesh Rasalam (Service Head) regarding this matter.

I did not buy a HP product to get this sort of disservice.

HP guys, if you are listening, then you better get your act together. Your service is dispicable. Initially when I purchased the printer, I had difficulty in installing it. When I called up your customer care to ask to send someone over to assist in this very initial task, they flat out refused. They said that installing the printer is not their responsibility. They tried to instruct me over the phone but without any success. I finally had to get a computer professional to help me with the installation.

This time over, also, the fellow initially refused to take the onsite request. It was only when I asked to speak to his supervisor, that he finally gave me the onsite request no.

Anyone planning to purchase HP printers BEWARE!!! The cartridge is not covered under the printer warranty (even the one that came with the printer when we purchased it). If you are not proficient in installation you are in deep trouble!!

Action has to be taken against HP for resorting to these type of tactics to scam their customers.

The internal speaker of my laptop Compaq 510 has suddenly stopped functioning. Now the thing is, i have absolutely not utilized or claimed anything under warranty, and now when i have a genuine problem you guys slap me with a bill of 3,500 rupees. The quotation sent to me says that the part costs 622 rupees and 2250 rupees as labour charge. I am a computer engineer myself.. the speaker barely takes time to fit.. if this is what you call after sale service then i must say its absolutely not appreciative. This repair is way too costly and non economical. This is purely extraction of money from the customers who loyally buy your product in hope of an economical and genuine after sale service. Very disappointed

Respected Sir, It is with great agony that I wish to bring to your kind notice the callousness shown by your department’s product. I purchased a HP/COMPAQ computer from Nigama Comptech & Services Pvt. Ltd., A/1, Kamlesh Market Complex, FCI Chhak, Nalco, Angul on Dt.16th-Oct-2009 & within this 2 years time period I am facing lots more obstacle to use this product. Basically the Sound problem & the Monitor going to sleep mode problem. I had already lodged complaint many times & in last month the same complaint I lodged on Dt. 27th-Jul-2011, Case ID no. CA1112404 & the last Case ID no is : CA1115205, Dt.03-Aug-2011 having the same problem. Time to time the service engineer is coming & changing the motherboard with replacing a new Motherboard for everytime. I am satisfy with your service but not satisfied with the quality of this product/PC Set. Already Motherboard changing has been done for 4 times. In spite of repeated oral complaints and your department’s oral assurances, no concrete action has yet been taken to solve this problem.
Last week on Dt.8th-Aug-2011 service engineer came & tried to slove that problem. But again he could not able to solve that problem. After that as per his senior Mr.Debasis’s (Redington Service, Bhubaneswar) advice, he took Motherboard, RAM with Hard Disk Drive to Bhubaneswar for checking briefly. Yesterday he came & assembled all that product above & then started the PC but finally the same problem occured again. Really I am totally frustrated.
It is really surprising that such an efficient department as that of yours is not heeding to solve this problem. If the Mother Board has already been replaced for 4 times within the warranty period & I am facing same type of problem frequently so I doubt on the quality of this particular PC Set/ Product which I have purchased. I have no reliability upon this PC Set/ Product because I am in doubt ,it may give frequent problem in future after completion of warranty period.
So finally, as a customer I request you either you replace this product with a new one or return the total money. I am quite hopeful that you will take a prompt action & oblige.

I have purchased HP Pavillion DM4-1219TX laptop from Secant Technologies, Ludhiana & was told that you will get assured gifts after logging on to www.hp.com/in/promotions. After 5 months of long waiting still i have not received the gifts.
Contacted the person on the shop was of no use. Had visited the place more than 3 times but still no solution came forward.
Being professional & senior manager of MNC, i would intimate you that i will be dealing with you in court charging you for undue harassment & cheating & will file a petition against the HP India, company for fooling the customers & even not behaving with them properly.
Enough evidence is there with me in regards to the contacts which i have done, registration which i have done with HP India.

we have sold our customer a scanner couple of months back . Customer started facing problem . Since it is under warranty , we gave the scanner to EBM in noida. it was there for 15 days did not do any thingh, we brought it back and gave it tarvo. there it was there for some time. As per them it got replaced but as soon we gave the same to customer it had the same problem and gave back to intarvo they kept the same there was for couple of days and said new drivers should be installed.
