Asus rog 5s started misbehaving after recent update

hello,
I generally use apple or samsuing products, recently i purchased asus laptop which has double screen, i am forgetting it name, i brought that from US and was amazed by its performance, hence i needed a device for gaming and youtube video listening while leisure time or bedtime. so i decided to purchase ASUS rog 5s. phone was really good and wa happy till last update came,after the update, the very next day my shutdown while i was working and restarted by ios own and after that my wifi and hotspot stopped working, i posted this issue on zentalks forum too and they stated that i should go to service centre for it, due to rakshabandhan i was busy as my business is of sweets and bakery.... i told them that i will send it after rakshabandhan... and on 2 or 3 september while i was playing game my shut down and never started again.... the phone became dead and non responsive.... i have send that to ASUS centre but now they are saying that they might have to change mother board which will cost loads..... Sir or maam, you can get my phone to yourself and see that my phone is as good as new, i have never ever carried it outside coz the purpose i got it for was only gaming and Youtube videos which i do in my leisure time, phone hasnt ever being exposed to heat or outside temprature even, my phone hasnt being used for even attending calls.... how can a motherboard of such thing get damaged when its only on bed.... i sounds ridiculous to me and as the Asus centre guys is saying that make me feel its a way of profiting.... If my phone is treated properly i will reach consumer forum for this too.... I have even seen on your forurm that similar issues have being faced by many others.... I dint expected Asus to be such a brand dear.... really shocked to see and hear... its pathetic experience for me.... i have got number of phones changed by apple and samsung if they have issues.... i am a very tech loving person.... i use iphone 1 pro max and samsung s23 ultra.... i feel you guys are fair toward consumers if you deal them this way... i am attaching copy of invoice and also copy of centre that provide me receipt in lucknow

Laptop out off warranty showing in service centre

I bought my laptop on 22/10/2022 but now when I went to the service center they said that my laptop is out of warranty. My laptop has motherboard problem and since last one month I am getting calls on toll free as well as mail. I am doing it but the warranty of my laptop is not being updated.

Asus Tuf f15 laptop getting hot

Asus Tuf f15 laptop purchase from Reliance digital. My son is using this laptop. Few days ago he has gone to Canada for 3 month's internship.After reaching canada the laptop is getting charged and discharged quickly. Also it is getting too hot. Before that it very fine, no problem at all. There is no asus service center in Kelowna, canada. He is using the original charger with adoptor. What is the issue?

There is not a day that passes without me regretting my decision to buy ASUS gaming laptop.

I purchased this laptop for 2.5 lakhs,
I wish I could go back in time and opt for a MacBook.

I had issue with my display, where the screen suddenly turned black.

I have a dedicated setup, where my laptop never moves an inch.
There is not a chance that the laptop faced any external damage, as its stationary as a rock.

While editing my travel videos suddenly the laptop screen went off.

1. Now my concern is what is the point of purchasing 2.5 lakh worth of State of an art machine, and not getting the display repaired even after having the Warranty.

2. The service technician visited, Inspected the laptop externally, and did not find any external damage, then he dis-assembled the laptop screen, and found some internal mark on the screen which even he was not sure that it could be an external damage.
They took a call, and to minimize the risk they called the case as a screen damaged, which is not to be covered under warranty.

Now please tell me, why should I be the one to suffer, When I did put my trust on ASUS product, and preferred it over MacBook pro or even MSI. I request you to please sort it out.

Laptop display complaint

Hi,

I write this with deepest concern regarding the trustworthiness of Asus Products which always had a top place in my list of go to brands.
I purchased a ASUS product an year ago with the following specifications through Flipkart from a verified seller.

Model : ASUS ROG STRIX G15
Processor: Intel i5
RAM : 8 GB
Graphics : NVIDIA GEFORCE 1650Ti

The product exhibited minor bugs now and then which I adjusted as they were not major and the performance of the product outshined this small discomforts. But recently I stumbled upon a more pressing problem related to the product.

Not more than a month after one year from the date of purchase , the product display seems to have stopped working.And there are no external factors which could have caused this damage to the product since I always handle the product with care and ensure the power supply to the device is regulated by only using power sources with adequate protection employed. I tried approaching multiple Asus Service centres with my device and they informed me that the device display is damaged and needs replacement which would cost me a very large amount.

The most ironic thing in this scenario is the fact that the product was just over it's warranty period and this damage occured . This makes me question the durability of the product and credibility of ASUS as a brand that delivers quality products. And the fact that this happened to one of ASUS's flagship product like ROG is terrible. Are Asus Products engineered in such a bad way that it just lasts over it's warranty period and immediately develop a fault?

The fact that a customer who payed over three quarters of a lakh to purchase the product having to pay such a huge amount in such a short time to keep the product functioning is atrocious. I am having second thoughts about my actions as a person who have recommended the same product to multiple acquaintances blinded by the performance and not thinking about it's durability.

I am posting this even though my hope of getting a reimbursement or a replacement seems to be as good as zero.

I am facing similar display black out problem like your gaming laptop in my Asus Tuff gaming laptop. Incidentally it was happened just after 13 months like yours one. Local servicing centre unable to rectify the fault though the laptop is in working condition when connected to other monitor. Servicing centre doubt about mother board problem. I just don't know what to do.
What happened to your laptop? Do you manage resolving your display problem. If yes please let me know how you didt it.
