Extremely poor service.My AC unit was bought in April of this year. Get a call last evening regarding Ist service. The Mechanic was supposed to come at
11.00 a.m. today, Still waiting for them. Calls are not answered. Hitachi has obviously outsourced to some company who are absolutely incpmetent.

Response from Hitachi is very very poor. On complaint technician came and opened AC and said PCB needs to be changed. He called his office staff and told me that PCB would cost me Rs 4800/ including visiting charges of Rs 500/~. He asked to pay me 500 and balance after repair. I refused and told him total amount would be paid only after repair. The next day he did not turn up as promised. The second day I called him only to be told that PCB for that model is not readily available and hence indented. Third day another gentleman called and asked about whether technician had attended the repair or not. When I explained him the picture , he said he would let me know the position. He did not call back me, but I received a message that my request has been cancelled as I was unable to be connected. A big lie and cheating. I again lodged complaint that still remains unresolved. For me, Hitachi appears to be a fraud company which is interested only in making money on sales, but unbothers about after- sales service. Very bad

Defficient new split inverter ac 1.5 ton

I purchased the 1.5 ton inverter ac in Noida from Grahak Quick Service, on 08 Dec 21. It came without 'Operating Manual' and the remote had no cells. Their were no other item with indoor or outdoor unit. Even the connecting wire from indoor to outdoor unit was missing. Not sure it is the new policy of the company or poor checks.

New AC not working

I bought new Hitachi AC on 10th June,2020 and it was not working. I registered a complaint on 13th June,2020 and since then 7 technical members have come home in 3 days to see the issue but they are unable to resolve it.
Everytime the technician comes, he agrees that the AC is not working but doesn't resolve the issue and consolidates us by saying that his senior will come another day to fix the issue.
I have the screenshot of the reading taken by the technician. PFA the same.
After 7 days now, I have received a message from the company that my complaint is resolved, but in reality its NOT RESOLVED.
Is this how you give service to your customers
Had I been knowing about your pathetic service, I would never have purchased the AC from Hitachi.
Now I would never recommend anyone to purchase any Hitachi product when the service is so bad.
Now if you want to resolve the issue, then just change my AC because I cannot allow a new person everyday at my home in the pandemic situation.

I took a window call for service on 8 June 2019; I went to see such a digital company for the first time, without coming to my house, someone did such a full service on the phone, now no one is picking up the phone, brother, do not use anything similar to this company, thank you.

I have purchased 2 split AC in 2018.One of the AC start giving problems of no cooling from 1st year itself.I sent mails to their customer care regarding this problem but received no reply.Recently again try to sent mail but mail return back with the massage of their mail box .

Very poor service

I purchased AC 3 weeks back, My AC is not getting switched off or ON through remote. I have registered 3 complaint in last 2 weeks but no resolution. I called customer service center 3 times in last 2 days and every time they says it will be corrected. No solution yet.
This is the worst service and customer care response i ever experienced. No one is cared customer and moving ball here and there. Looking for faster resolution so i can use my AC effectively.

Horrible customer service in air condition

I have purchased a new window ac of hitachi. At the time of installation i found that the fan of the machine was broken. The hitachi guys said the machine will be replaced withen 15 days which took nearly 1.5 months to replace. Again I have received a new sealed pack air condition with a machine which is briken feom the front. Now I am trying to contact hitachi for the replacement and they are not responding. The people to cam to my place for the re installation had a horrible behaviour as if they are doing a favour to me and when i did not allow the re install the broken machine they started arguing with me. Now I think buying a hitachi ac is a biggest mistake i did.

No more hitachi

Hey.. Hitachi was a name once. But current generation ACs ain't good.

Due to cost cutting and tough competition they have reduced the quality so bad, that it's pain owning a Hitachi product.

And then their unreliable customer service practices makes it totally crap product. I bought A.C. in 2017, first 3 month i made 2 complaints and their guys never ever noted that customer not satisfied. And then season was over, next year i again started complaining, 2 complaints i made. Upon second complaint they visited me 3 days after warranty was over and finally made a point that gas pressure is down need refilling. For which they were charging 4000 inr. After making some noise on Twitter they finally agreed to replace/refill the gas for free. Season over. 2019 i again made some complains and every time service guys comes and say it perfectly alright no fault, while we can feel that cooling is not upto the mark but not letting me write anything on service delivery documents.

2019 year we were travelling so didn't have time to bother much. 2020 here again A.C. compressor is not working. Interesting thing, I had bought panasonic as well along with Hitachi for other room, same year. Panasonic is working absolutely fine. Never required to call service center ever for any issue in past 36 months. I call both the dealers for the first service of the season and then For normal maintenance I myself clean the filters of both ACs on monthly basis.

Hitachi happened to a be a wrong decision despite paying 2000 extra over panasonic. Advice you and everyone on this forum to not to opt for Hitachi at all, even if you an offer of 50% discount. Trust me you are well of saying no to Hitachi.

Quality of present range of machines

Present range of Hitachi high end machines are so poor quality and service department itself is so pathetic that you will give up this brand for ever like I did

I have Ace series and Kozikou top range inverter machines from Hitachi. I paid through nose for these machines .. but experience on both these machines is very bad. I won't think or recommend for this brand!!!

My both machines are less than 4 year old but from very first year itself performance remained a mystery..

People at national service as well call centre team are so thick skinned that hardly it matters to them.

In today's scenario no one prefers this brand which used to be at one time king of air conditioners

No response when customer care is contacted

One of the ACs fitted oiur our apartment in Estancia is ailing frequently and now under breakdown. I am unable to get response from Customer Care. The Call closes saying that I will receive SMS Shortly. I am waiting and waiting!!

I purchased a 2 ton Ac from Hitachi last year.There was some issue in starting of the air conditioner unit so contacted Customer care which then sent their customer representatives from Royal air conditioners. No Cooling in my Hitachi ton Split ac after refilling gas

I called to book a repair work at my home on 1860 xxx 48 48.
Mr. Asif - came to my home on 24th June, 2019 and fill the gas.
Again I face the same problem on 26th June, 2019 and I call to 1860 xxx 48 48, again Mr. Asif from Kingstone Home Service, ahmedabad, gujarat came to repair it, but I am still facing the same problem. No cooling in my Hitachi 1.5 ton Split AC.
I try to complaint for the same. They charge me Rs. 3250/- and I am facing so many problems after it.
They told me they are from Hitachi out of warranty department.
I need help from your side to get my money back and repair my product.

I have purchased AC split version from Merai 3100x from Meerut location on 21 April 2019.

Complaint - Swing not working

Hitachi has "THE WORST" customer service. I am from Kurnool, AP and lodged a complaint on June 02 and the ticket was assigned to Malik Basha on June 03. Till today, June 10, Malik Basha has not visited to check the issue and doesnt pick up the calls. Out of 30-40 tries, he picks 1 or max 2 times and he will say he will visit in an hour. May be he lost his time, or his hour countdown never start. Hitachi needs to improve on customer service and employee/outsource to some trust worthy people

Without seeing this site, i purchased this brand ac, i begging and in leave for installation. Different mechanics are calling and fixing time but no body comes for installation.

Escalation regarding misleading services

In my case let me share in detail what happened exactly:

First of all, when the dealer installed this product (appox. 3 years back) they didn't provide us the complete information about the free services and what we (customer) has to do in order to avail all those free services.

Secondly, when I talked to your customer care department they acknowledge that they didn't bothered to inform or even follow up with the customer that they have been provided complete information about the product by the dealer and they keep on repeating only one thing that you follow up with your dealer. Such a big reputed brand , if they are not at all bothered to take some responsibility for it, why the dealer will take responsibility for it.

One more surprising evidence, they were not even able to make a track of it that which dealer has sold this product and where this product has been installed which clearly shows the behaviour and attitude of the company as I said above that they are only concerned or engaged in selling the product , who is actually using this product. They don't have any information at all. If the company has involved dealer in between, they can't take a skip out of it. They are still responsible for it. They can't take their customers as granted.

Third, when I asked the lady executive to take my complaint and give me a complaint id , they denied to take my complaint. When I asked them to give me a ID for the call recording related to this complaint, they denied again and they even didn't shared their employee code with me which was very surprising for me. Finally they give me one request Id and told me they I need to talk to Technical Department Incharge and it's upto them if they provide you the free services or they will charge you for the same. When I asked them that on what basis they are going to decide that they should charge or not, the reply I got was again very surprising. She told me that I have to explain the complete case to them (Technical Department Incharge) and it's upto them that they will charge for it or not. It means that now I am at their mercy. How interesting it was?

One has to understand, Selling the product is one thing but providing and ensuring that customers should be provided basic knowledge about the product and it's related services is also a company's responsibility and consumer right. No company can take a skip out of it.

A/C is not working

i bought hitachi A/C (1.5 Ton Inverter Expandable 5 Star rating) at Bajaj Electronics - Hyderabad. From day one A/C is not working properly.

Problems:

Water is leaking
suddenly ac is stoping.

Many times i raised a request to hitachi support. requests are raising properly with request ids and technicians also assigned. but no one from support team is not coming to resolve issue.

I have purchased a Hitachi AC Model RSNS317GCEA on 5TH April 2019 from M/s Bajaj Electronics, Hyderabad. The AC was installed on the 9TH of April 2019. It was not working properly since a week after the installation I have filed a complaint online and so far there is no response from the company regarding the rectification of the fault in the AC. Hence you are requested to see to it that the AC is serviced at an early date. I am facing a very bad experience with Hitachi regarding the service.

Complaint not respeonded

Two weeks ago I recorded the complain regarding the non-functioning of my Hitachi Window AC. I received call from the service provider after two days and since then no one made a visit or responded to my problems. The phone no. is almost useless as it hardly connects. I cannot imagine such a poor service from such a renowned company. I feel like cheated. Hitachi must take an urgent notice to such a bad post purchase service system.

A complaint has been done to hitachi ac service center since last 5 days but evrrytime they pick up the call but mo one turns up to come for serviving...vrry poor servicing ...i would suggest please dont buy hitachi AC you will regret forever.

Complaint against Hitachi Service Provider

Already planned to return my newly bought Hitachi 5 star inverter ac of 1.5 ton Kashikoi model due to bad behaviour of their service personnel and their over charge. The amount I've been told to pay for the installation, they are charging 4 times and saying it's our package and company rules. I'm bound to pay extra for unnecessary service charge which I've been told free.
I loved this company but I was wrong, it's better to go for Panasonic.
Sorry Hitachi you are not a man of principle and not made to serve in India anymore. I was to bye another 3 ACS of your make but I've changed my decision.

Disappointed Service

Please note that I have been perusing your service centre for my ac repairing and servicing for almost last one year , but however it’s highly frustrating that your representatives are not skilled enough to understand the root cause of the problems, however he had insisted changing the display and remote which is the reason for my ac not cooling and the thereby the compressor is not cutting off as the temperature never reaches the adjusted temperature. This has been on for quite sometime and your service representative is not at all equipped enough to understand the problem and give a solution.
Pls note that Hitachi being such a world wide renowned company if they hire so poor quality of service representatives I am sorry to say that I have to highlight the same to the social media so that the premium you all charge while when we buy the machine is not just expected when we have other companies like LG , Samsung, Whirlpool are providing world class service and so is their representatives and they do not charge such a huge premium while buying it from shops .
This is absolutely disappointing service that I am facing from Hitachi and I would urge all my friends and people in the circles not to opt for brand which only charges premium and donot give good post sales services .

Worst company ever....no one response AC

Hitachi is the worst company ever...even they don't care about there client all the numbers are busy all the time and if bymistake they pick up the call so then they'll take 1 week instead of 48hours as they said so to all I'll suggest don't go for hitachi don't but Hitachi They dont have id card, no dress don't know even how to behave...

Poor quality AC

We recently purchased hitachi window AC. It doesnot cool as compared to carrier or other AC. We have carrier installed in our another room. Purchasing hitachi AC proved out to be worst decision.

This is very disgusting to say that even various complaint registered over phone at your customer care since AC purchasing date but no solution done by the company. ac not working properly

I purchased 5star hitachi ac in year 2017 but since than it was not working properly till yet. The serviceman was called from hitachi service centre 4 to 5 times but no successful result was seen. So its a very bad experience to procure this product.

hitachi AC no service

for the past 2 months i was lodging the service request for repairing my inverter AC. even after around 10 -15 request no body attended my request. that too in kerala it is too hot. i am planing to submit a case before consumer court. i never experienced such a worst customer care in my life
