I am planning to visit Kolkata next week(3nights) with a tourist visa from Bangladesh. I have also Singapore and Indonesia tourist visas. I want to know if from Kolkata can I fly to these countries. From Thailand, I will return to Dhaka at my home.

I am writing from the USA and I'll be travelling to India soon. I have a return flight from Kolkata (direct flight CCU-DEL-ORD - air India). As per US Covid mandate, I need to get negative RT PCR within (of less than) 24 hrs before journey origination from CCU.

I saw a tweet from Kolkata Airport that clearly states RT PCR report can be available within 4-6 hrs if Test is done at HINDLABS. However when I contacted Hindlabs they said that RT PCR test results are not available before 24 hrs, which is very different that what AAI tweeter says. Moreover AAI should scan requirements from different countries and guide passengers accordingly. If Hindlab can get RP PCR results in less than 24 hrs, they should educate employees what to tell others like me who are calling from other countries. Somehow AAI should align and facilitate COVID test related requirements from Different countries more efficiently.

I want to a back office or clarical or ground staff job in airport sector in kolkata .....

Please try to understand that all passenger are not habitueat drink the water as your system which you have install in airport diparture hall. My humble request , please put glass for drink the water.

I as a passenger want to complain about the unauthorized actions of your (may be) staff on duty.
The situation was as such that I landed in Kolkata on 10th September 2019. I completed all my formalities as a holder of Indian passport in the immigration and came down and collected my luggage.
While I was passing by the gate to come outside a short highted mediocre and and idiotic type of person in jeans and T-shirt with no uniform approached me at the outgoing scanning machine and asked me to show his passport to which I asked him why but he insisted on it to see my passport.
I want to ask the authorities that first of all when the immigration is clear then why should someone ask my passport and harass me to show it again just for no reasons at all. I can very well understand if the police in dress asked for it I would have surely given. Such type of idiotic things have only been seen in Kolkata airport. Apart from that your guy was not in any kind of uniform but in jeans and T-shirt as if he was about to hurry up for a party.
This doesn't happen in any other airports in in indiaas is a special case for Kolkata I suppose. Please do not tell me that he was someone in civil uniform as he looked someone like a young person with limited awareness.
Please stop such harassment of people at your airport and tell your staff to wear uniforms and identify themselves before doing such silly things and also state the cause of such requests.
The next time it happens we shall surely call the head of your airport departures or your terminal manager to state the reasons for such stupid and unwanted occurrences. Kindly brief your staff about this please.

The security staff appointed in flight transfer gate is behaving very bad. They don't knoe how to talk with passenger. They are purely uneducated. I don't know how AAI appointed them for security ch3cking. Its ridiculous.
