Procedural Details
1. Bonafide students from all schools and colleges in the region are eligible to participate.
2. Last date for submission of Registration Form for participation: 20.02.2011.
3. Date of competitions: 26.02.2011, time 10am.
4. Registration fee is Rs.100/(one hundred) per institution payable as Demand Draft in favour of Central University of Punjab Bathinda -151001
5. An institution can send any number of entries for a particular categoric theme. Only one entry for each competition is allowed for a participant.
6. The size of photograph should not exceed 36”X24”. It should be any of the following sizes; 6”X8” or 8”X10” or 10”X12”
7. If the photo has been shot with an analogue camera the candidate should produce the original negative and if digital, original electronic file should be produced in a CD along with the Registration Form and Authentication Form for Photograph.
8. An undertaking should be given in writing for the authenticity of the photograph enclosed as Authentication Form for Photograph along with the Registration Form.
9. Justified caption written on the left lower corner of each of Painting/Photograph etc., highlighting how it is related to the title theme is mandatory for all competitions. A label of 7”x4” size must be fixed where the following detail should be mentioned:
a) Candidate's name
b) Categoric theme
c) Affiliation
d) Title of competitive work
e) Size (cm)
10. The candidates may bring any necessary material for their paintings.
11. Time Duration for painting will be 3 hrs starting from 10.00 am.
12. All the participants will be issued participation certificates.
13. The photographs should be submitted to Event Coordinator, Dr. Zameerpal Kaur on or before 24th of February, 2010 personally or by post.
14. The participants should produce their ID proofs for verification whenever demanded.
15. On 26th February, 2011 the participants should report at 9.00 am sharp at the University Campus.
16. The prize winning entries will be retained by the university.
17. There will be three prizes for each category of competition.
18. Separate prizes will be given to the participants from schools and colleges.
19. Minimum number of entries for a competition in each cetegoric theme will be five.
20. The candidate should represent his painting during review by the expert committee.
21. Decision of the Expert Committee will be final.
22. Any malpractice would lead to cancellation of the candidature and the information will be forwarded to the concerned institution for necessary action.
23. No TA/DA will be paid.
24. The participants will be served refreshments.
25. At least one accompanying faculty member representing the competing institution should be present at the time of display of exhibits on 26.02.2011 at 2.00 pm.
26. The participants should contact Event Coordinator for results on 27.02.2011 or the same can be collected from University website www.centralunipunjab.com
27. The prizes will be presented to the winners on 28.02.2011 at 11.00 am. The winners should report to the University campus at 10.00 am sharp.
