Drivers unacceptable behavior

I just booked a share cab from kanjurmarg west to lowar parel at 10.20am. its been 15 minim waiting for cab. he havent moved from his location yet towards my pickup location. i called the driver and asked why he is not started driving towards my pick up location he reply "If you want me to come wait till i reached there as per my time or else you can cancel the trip. This is too much. i told him cancelled the trip from your side if you dont want o come bcoz ill have to pay cancellation charges if i cancelled the trip. till no he havent cancelled the trip.and im not able to book another cab because of that. This is pathetic. not expected this from UBER. very disappointed.

Being terribly cheated

As I had a flight to catch I prebooked my ride at 6.45 for a 7.30 pick
up. The rate began changing at an alarming speed which was not such a problem as I was getting into peek hours. Since time was of the essence I checked and rechecked the route. When I boarded the vehicle the range showed cost of trip 475-600 which was still ok by me. However the driver changed my route even though I requested him to keep to the original route since time was my primary concern. Sad to say but besides being late I also ended up paying Rs 751 which was literally day light robbery by the driver. I hope Uber has accountability for these miscreants.
A very common way to loose business is an unhappy customer.

Trip cancelled by Driver

Hello,

I had booked uber from shivaji park to grant road at around 16.30 hrs today, driver called after 10 mins and asked for destination

After advising him the DETIALS, he cancelled the trip..!!!??!!

I do not remember car no but his name was Vinayak and car was hyundai accent

Next car arrived after 8-10 mins.so almost 20 mins was standing on road

What action you take against this type of irresponsible and arrogant driver..?

Uber needs to start charging drivers for accepting fares and then canceling, just like they do to their customers.

Hi Team,

I accidentally paid uber cash while my payment method was via card. I am not requesting you to refund the amont. All i am requesting is that the card payment is showing the same as outstanding amount. please check that and resolve the issue. This will enable me to take future rides or else i will have to refrain from using uber as the amount will be debited from my account too and you will not refund the same knowing that the payment has already been done through cash.

Cancellation charges

I have booked cab and was waiting for haf an hour. It showed only 5 minutes when i booked. But the driver didnt turn up. When i called his contact number. He was not picking the call. So i happened to cancel the ride since i was running late and no response from the driver as well. When in this situation, it was the drivers fault for not responding properly. But why the hell did u charge 30 for my cancellation? Do you want me to wait for the whole day without any intimation. It happened with me number of times. Pls give reason for cancellation. This is completely ridiculous. I cannot pay for the cancellation without a valid reason.

Dear sir,
I am a journalist of a reputed daily in chennai. Due to an important meeting held at thiruvallur, i picked up a uber taxi thru app. The app shed the destination as thiruvallur and the charges as 892 rs. I agreed and take the trip. All of a sudden the driver stopped the car near pugal and asked ne yo get down by paying the charges. I asked him the reason, he said the city limits finished at puzhal, if I want to continue, he asked me to pay extra rs 500 above the estimated bill of 892. And he frequently calling anther person over phone, that person had also threatened me. So I alighted from the car in the middle, 28 kms ahead.

This morning one of the Uber Cabs made an accident with my car. My car was right at the back of this Uber Cab and suddenly this cab came reverse banging on my car's front fender.
The entire fender came down with multiple other dents.

At this time I was dropping my kid in front of his school. God forbidden if something else had happened to me or my kid.

Driver speaking very rudely and not understanding the situation

I booked Uber pool from Kharghar to Nerul.My mother, younger brother (6 yrs) and me were going to travel by the car , we booked 2 seats and he asked me to leave the car in a very rude tone . The behaviour of the driver was very bad . He must have taken us to our Destination on this heavy raining day .

Overdue even after paid the cash to driver

Yesterday I was riding in uber taxi and my ride amount was 273, when reached the destination driver said I have a network problem in my mobile and not getting the receipt, I checked in my app its was showing 273.96 so we paid Rs 280/- to the driver. In evening I was trying to book a new ride and its showing that you have pay the amount 273.96 overdue. Kindly look in to this and enquirer with concern and do the needful.

Wrong billing n cancellation charges

Today on 10.08.18 i booked a cab at around 12.00pm from Thane to Kalyan, 2 cabs reported under one booking WHY?

At around 2.45 pm i booked a cab from Kalyan to Vashi, the waiting time for cab to arrive was 8 minutes and after some time it showed 15 minutes and I could track the cab moving away from my location. I cancelled and I was charged ₹46. Off WHY WAS I PENALUSED, I CANNOT WAIT FOR YOUR CAB FOR MORE THAN 20 MINUTES.

IN EVENING AROUND 9.30PM I BOOKED A CAB FROM VASHI TO THANE, THE FARE DISPLAYED WAD ₹536 AND AFTER CONFIRMATION THE CHARGES SHOWN WAS ₹701.
WHY DOES UBER FLEECH THE CONSUMERS... QUOTE THE RIGHT AMOUNT AND CHARGE SO... WE ARE NOT BARGAINING WITH YOU.
ASK FOR MONEY UPFRONT N I AM READY TO PAY. BUT THIS WAS CHEATING.

UBER CHEATING

I have booked cab from villivakkam to mylapore and the rate shown was 180-225 and it was scheduled evening 3.50 PM just before schedule receivedinformation that the fare is high is by 1.5 times. Infact i booked well in advance of 1hr. This is second time happening and UBER is cheating the peopel. Concern people to take action on this

Very bad application payment services

My uber payment mode is paytm.
I was trying to book uber auto from vishrantwadi to katraj place in Pune.
Before confirming a trip, the amount rs.350 from paytm account is kept on hold by uber and also I got no trip confirmation message from uber.
So that once again I was trying to book a uber auto, but unfortunately the same thing happened to me.
Now, my 700rs. Are on hold because of Uber and I don't have money in my paytm account to book a cab.
I want the reason of why Uber kept my paytm money on hold and that too twice?
And I want my money back to my paytm account unless I will not use uber app in future.

Driver demanded money in cash

I booked Uber auto on Tuesday evening (31st Jul 2018). I have choose PAYTM as my payment mode. When my ride started the driver demanded to me pay the fare in cash. I was not able to do anything and I was not able to change the payment mode too. I have paid him through cash, since he was not ready to let me go. At the same time my fare has been debited from my PAYTM account too. Please help me to refund my money back,since I have paid double the amount for my ride.

Not able to pay with my paytm wallet

I am not able to pay with my paytm wallet which is connected with uber app. I have previously inquired about it, but there has not been any positive feedback from uber's side.

Drivers not teaching the destination

Today 31st July , uber was booked from telephone no. XXXXXXX. The cars were
1) Tata Indica, HN 1684, Driver Ashish
2) Maruti Suzuki, GD 9802, driver Kalimmudin

Both of them didn’t teach whispering heights, Malad and pick up the customer . Now charges have been deducted for missing the cabs . Kindly investigate and reimburse the charges.

Fraud by driver

I had taken a ride from Phoenix hypercity,LBS marg,Kurla to Prabhat colony,santa Cruz east on 28/7/18 in the evening at around 16.50. the fare came up to ₹247.99 & i paid the driver ₹250 for the trip. But the driver hasn't updated the amount and it's showing outstanding in my account.i called the driver and asked him to update it from his side and at the same time I even complained in uber about the same.but till now no action has been taken and the amount is still showing outstanding.Today the driver is not even responding to my calls.kindly take necessary action and oblige.

Hi had booked a Uber XL from Marina Beach yesterday to Karaima Nagar. The Cabdriver requested us to come on the other side of the road (Crossing The SubWay) and we did the same. Upon arriving he said us to Cancel the trip as his internet was not working and we need to rebook it. Once we Cancelled he said us not to rebook and he will manage from his app as his Data line was working good so we did not rebook it.

Upon arriving to our destination he charged us around Rs.120 more than what was displaying for us when we initially booked it. The driver took us in a wrong route saying that this is the short cut for the destination which was in fact very long and with full of traffic. Driver attitude was very worst and I guess tantamount went to his pocket and not to the company.

Now when I need to book Cab again in Uber I getting a cancellation fine of Rs.150 and I cannot proceed with any more booking in UBER

Request all the UBER customers not to Cancel your trips just because the drivers are saying

Actually i was booked the journey from cp ramaswamy road to sathyam cinemas yesterday(20th july 2018) around 6.20 to 6.50pm. I lost my wallet at dropping point. The driver forced me to get down in the right side of the car. I was watching vehicles are coming or not. At that moment i lost my wallet. When I get down i realize that i was lost my wallet in car. The cab also in the 20 m distance. I am hurry to open the uber app to contact the driver. It shows last trip only. I cannot catch the car and miss the wallet. Still now uber didn't update my ride details. I don't know why u are not updating my ride details. I lost my wallet in front me. I tried many times to contact uber i can't. Update my ride details and get back to my wallet. I think the cab number is 8153. Update as soon as possible.

SUB: Cheating by Uber- India Driver and Wrong billing of INR284 by Uber- India for Trip Cancelled by UBER driver. I had booked a UberGO from Xrbia Township to Hinjewadi Phase 2 Pune and in the app the amount showing 96 rs need to be paid.
The total distance is from my house to my office is 7 Km so how UBER charge 284 rs which is not acceptable. Please refund my pending amount ASAP.

One other instance, of yesterday. I take an CAB in pool and the amount showed was 70rs and UBER charge me 160 rs.

How UBER can charged more than double amount for 7KM. Its a cheating or Fraud. Please have a look and do the needful to refund my remaining amount.

Fraudulent Uber

Yesterday 9th July ride with uber that charges was 139 rupees.. but driver shown addition of 157 rupees totally 296 rupees.. 4th July I was booked and cancelled so that I paid 43 rupees and 1 rupees from my debit card. After that I booked same day but driver was cancelled that trip.. why should I pay for that 157 rupees.. transfer to my account ASAP

I had booked a premier intercity trip to Sri City, Andhra pradesh from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The trip was accepted by Uber driver Mr. Kaja Moideen . However after arriving at the gate he asked for details and was hesitant. He reluctantly drove about 500 meters and he said he does not have original documents required at the Andrapradesh checkpoint and has Xerox copies only. He spoke to the "owner" who was out of town and original documents cannot be obtained and has cancelled the trip. He dropped back at my house and driver CANCELLED the trip. Subsequently, I was back in the Uber que and few other drivers accepted and cancelled as well but without charges.

Afterwards I noticed that my credit card was charged Rs1050 for the trip charged as "Minimum Charges" which is wrong as the trip was cancelled by the Uber Driver.
In summary,
1) If the driver CANCELLED the trip because he does not have the original documents and Service was not provided, why am I being charged me Rs 1050?
2) I have reported this many times through the app as well but I have not received any response or refund.
3) No other escalation or Customer Complaint Mechanism: There is no telephone number or email ID for Customer Complaints for Uber India

Today, I had a drive from panchkula sector 4 to Elante mall. I paid through paytm. The expected fare was Rs 102. But after dropping me at elante, the driver didn't end the trip at elante mall. He drove his cab to sector 31 Chandigarh from there and then ended my drive. Which led to a debit of RS 157 from my paytm account. I had already messeged uber about this in help section but there is no reply since 7 hrs. Please consider this and kindly refund the extra charge to me.

He is fighting that he will leave before the drop location and he is arguing with us. He is also unprofessional and marked the trip has he drop us but he asked us to get down from the cab since it is his cab.

Incorrect charging of cancellation fee

Yesterday i had booked a ride form chandigarh to kharar , drivers was already near to my location as we can see in our device. After 10 mins i looked her location is still same and even he did not move one step from his location. I tried to call him three times but roots are coming busy. Then suddenly i recieved call from him and they said i cannot go to kharar please cancel your request, after cancelation ,I was charged 42 rupees as cancellation fee. But i have not cancelled the right so why should i pay for that.

Now uber have strated peoples looting as their buisness is growing day by day.

I had traveled from Pune airport to prabhat Road Deccan Gymkhana on 10-4-17.Initially I tried to make advance payment by credit card but it didn’t work. So after complaining the ride I paid Driver ( mostly his name was Santosh) by cash. It seems he has not informed you about it and the amount still shows as unpaid so I have stopped using your services. Please resolve as soon as possible. Since again I will need your services in near future your early response is expected.
