My vehicle got accident. It was insured under their cover. at zero debt policy. They are not providing me claim. They are saying that you need to give 3000 Rs and then we will return back it in your account. So, what's the use of zero debt plan. It is not fair. Kindly help me

My policy no:1511002818p111325210 i have applied for a claim on 24.09.19.
My claim was approved on 28.10.19 but till today it was not( settled) credited to my bank account.
In this context it is requested to settle the amount immediately.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

This is in reference to the claim with respect to admission of My Mother Mrs. Daxaben K. Shah, who had suffered a major Heart Attack on 30-June-2018, residing at P.O. Matar Dist. Kheda, Gujarat. Pursuant to the said event we had quickly admitted her to the nearest hospital in emergency ward at 04:00 AM, under the watchful eyes of Dr. Pankaj Parikh (M.S) General Surgeon. Despite of him being a general surgeon he has provided exemplary primary treatment to my mother, which proved life saving. So much as that, pursuant to which, she was under the watchful eyes of Dr. Vajirani and Dr. Tejas Patel who are most renowned Cardiologists, they too have sincerely praised the efforts and treatment given by Dr. Pankaj Parikh, depsite of modest of the facilities available in a small town.

Due to this quick response and timely treatment, she was saved from the life threatening event and didn't have to go through any surgery viz. By-pass or Angioplasty.If the patient would have been admitted in any of the private hospital in any major cities, charges would have been shown by the hospital under different heads and the same would have been passed by the insurance company even if the amount would have been more by 50% to 75%. Since it was an emergency situation and she was at a remote place immediate treatment had to be given and the same has to be considered in context of ICU charges and therefore the same has to be passed by the insurance company then waiving it off merely on the ground that they are administration charges.
My family has been having medi claim for the past 20 years. And as a duty we have never delayed or defaulted in payment of premiums and renewals, nor have we filed for claim ever in the past. We have duly fulfilled our fiduciary duties, but when my mother suffered a major heart ailment, and was admitted in the modest of the facility in a small town, she was denied certain claim amount by you. However, at the time of lodging claim with you, your assessors have unjustly deducted an amount of Rs.20,789/- (Rupess Twenty thousand seven hundred eighty nine only), towards administration of Hospital ICU charges by the doctors towards their professional fees. It is quiet inappropriate for a big insurance company like to have waived this amount considering as Administration charges. And as an ordinary senior citizen we do not have the competence to know what charges are covered under what slabs. The hospital authority did their best and saved a life. It is for the insurance company and the hospital to have clarity of the charges and we as individual citizen should not be made to suffer. Actually the insurance company should have sought clarification from the hospital itself before waiving of the said charges merely because they were administration charges.Despite of having a long relationship and payment of regular premium with you, this is truly unjust and very unsound act by a major insurer like you.

In the aforementioned circumstance, I hereby appeal to you to consider the waived amount which has been classified as administration charges and the same be fully reimbursed back to us. This is a formal intimation from our end to you and may be taken into consideration positively or else I may be constrained to issue you legal notice for proceedings and recovery as well, the cost of which shall be entirely upon the insurance company. We also have on record similar cases, where such amounts have been passed by the insurance company in the past and I would quote the same as reference or precedence purpose and in that case on the ground of parity, the insurance company will have to pass the same at a later date.

Hence, we would again request you kindly reconsider the bill submitted and pass the same as a genuine and honest claim.
