Urgent Complaint Regarding Faulty Voltas AC (Invoice No. SLTC863

Dear Voltas Customer Service Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with both the product quality and service provided for the Voltas E-Voltas INV AC 1.5 ton, which I purchased from Chroma Online Store.

Although the AC was delivered promptly and installed within the promised timeframe, I began experiencing issues with the cooling within 4-5 days of installation. Upon lodging a complaint, an engineer was sent to inspect the AC, and it was revealed that there was a gas leakage issue. Unfortunately, despite multiple follow-ups and delays of 5-6 days, the issue was finally addressed after an unacceptable wait time, which was frustrating but eventually resolved.

However, after just two months of use, the same issue has occurred again. I lodged a service request, and the technician who visited did a very quick and inadequate inspection, merely cleaning the net and leaving within five minutes without properly addressing the cooling problem. When the cooling issue persisted, a second visit revealed the same gas leakage problem. This time, the technician spent 1-2 hours inspecting the unit, yet they failed to diagnose the issue properly and insisted on taking the internal unit to their service station.

I agreed to this in the hopes of a permanent resolution, but I was given no clear timeline on when I would receive my AC back. I have followed up multiple times, and each time I am given vague responses like “we are checking on it” without any concrete solutions or timelines. I find this lack of communication and professionalism extremely disappointing, especially from a reputed brand like Voltas.

As I purchased this AC through Chroma Online Store, I believe it is also their responsibility to ensure that I receive a functional product and proper post-sale service. Therefore, I kindly request one of the following actions from either Voltas or Chroma:

1. Immediate replacement of the faulty AC unit.
2. Expedited repair and return of my internal unit with a permanent solution to the gas leakage issue.

I purchased this AC based on Voltas’ reputation for quality, and I am now left without a functional AC in peak season, which is not acceptable. I urge you to take immediate action to resolve this matter.

I look forward to a prompt and satisfactory resolution, whether by Voltas or Chroma.

Harrasment of the customer by voltas-regarding-

My AC is put of order and PCB is not working. Every i called no response yet. Techinician asked for money for the problem. Its a harrassment by the big company to the middle class family .

Bad service and coustmer care

I have raised a issue with my voltas 1.5ton inverter ac on 12th of June 2024. The technician said within 15days the part will be replaced . Issue with PLC it has to be replaced . I purchased the A/c 6 months back. After repeated follow ups and calls there is no response from the team . The coustmer care number is waste of time . The ASM karthik doesn't answer calls . Waste of time calling up and following up with voltas and team. Suggestion: pay 1000 extra and buy a better Ac with good service.

i purchsed ac on june 2022 but on 02.06/2024 it was not working properly and i complain to customer service and after that your technician came and told me that your outer unit pcb is not working and we need to change and he raised complain for new pcb but after that till 24.06.2024 and notbody responding me that how much time they will take to solve it and june is a higher digree month i m very unhappy with your service and reponse team. nobody escalating my issue and taking too long to resolve my problem so please i m requesting you that take action immideatly on it and resolve my problem as soon as possible thank you

I recently purchased this deep freezer from EASY COOL ENTERPRISES on 9/4/24 , and I have encountered a significant problem with its cooling functionality. Despite following the recommended operating instructions and temperature settings, the freezer is failing to maintain the desired low temperature, resulting in thawing of frozen items stored inside.

लेकिन अत्यंत दुःख के साथ कहना पड़ रहा है की जब से हमारे घर में AC Installed हुआ तभी यह एक दिन भी नहीं चल पा रहा है l मेरे AC में बॉडी damage और AC से आवाज आना लगातार जारी है इसके लिए मै 4 से 5 बार Voltas Service centre में complain लॉज कर चूका हूँ l सर्विस centre से इंजीनियर भी आये हैं लेकिन अभि तक AC का बॉडी और आवाज आना दोनों ठीक नहीं हुआ है l मैं सबसे पहले 13/4 फिर 17/5 फिर 30/5 और 27/6 को कम्प्लेन लॉज kiya है l ये सब का रिपोर्ट इस ईमेल में attach किया हूँ l इसके साथ AC का बिल भी attach किया हूँ l
मुझे ऐसा लग रहा है की आदित्य विज़न और वोल्टास दोनों के दवारा मुझे चीट और ठगा गया है l

Voltas AC purchased 1.5 Ton

10 days ago we bought an AC from the honourable and popular company Voltas(Model No. 183V Vectra Prime) .
And now we have faced too many problems regarding to its leakage issue. Today it was the third time that your engineers had to come and repair it. Problem is occurring in every 2 days, the old patients in our house are having the most problem by this issue. We are now fed up with this product and also disappointed too after witnessing this problems so many times. So we plead you to fix the problem permanently or do the honor of replacing it.

I have purchased two AC on 15th April which were installed on 25th May. Now one of the two AC is not cooling As per service request one representative attended on 06 05 2023 and informed that about gas locked. surprisingly the said request No was cancelled but the the machine is still in breakdown mode till 5th May 2023 How much time is still required to get my AC workable

Scheduled Maintainence

I purchased the Voltas 1.5 ton inverter AC last year on April 28th.After one year, it is not cooling. My scheduled maintainence is due. I booked the slot for 15th April. Today is 16th.Did not get any call or information about the technician. Your customer service us worst. Only interested in selling ur product. Within a year, your product stopped functioning.

AC part missing gas leaking

This complaint is regarding our new AC. We have already registered our complaint and its take too much time almost a week gone but no resolve.

Regarding gas leakage in 5 star 1.5 ton AC unit.

Sir/madam,
I want to bring in your kind attention towards an unsolved problem of AC cooling.
I bought two units of Voltas five Star 1.5 ton AC from M/s. Vinod Trunk House. Nangal Dam. Distt. Roop NagarPunjab.inmonth of June 2016.
One of them is working well.
But another one is facing the problem of gas leakage every year from the very beginning. I have been complaining against it every year since the day of purchase. Your qualified and expert engineers have visited many times. Most of the time they dismantle the unit and take it with them to their workshop and tell us that now they have completely repaired the unit and you will never again get a chance to complain and assured me that It will not happen again, I have never refused for the repair
fee, it is also worth mentioning that apart from this I have never asked to any other technician to repair it. It is your product, and are you guys helpless to solve the problem ?.
A few months ago your technician visited and repaired it, but a few days ago its cooling has gradually been slowed down and ice is constantly forming near the outdoor unit.

वोल्टास कस्टमर सर्विस बहुत ही घटिया स्तर की है। मैं कस्टमर केअर सेंटर और सर्विस सेंटर पर 02/5/22 से अपने वोल्टास स्प्लिट एoसीo को ठीक करवाने के लिए लगातार फोन करते करते इतना परेशान हो गया की थक कर प्राइवेट मैकेनिक से ठीक करवाना पड़ा।
उल्टे मुझे मैसेज भेजा जा रहा है की में उनका फोन नही उठा रहा हूं। जबकि मेरे पास सर्विस सेंटर या फिर कस्टमर केयर सेंटर एक फोन तक नही आया

I have purchased Voltas split Ac last year in may 2019 and after 1 week of usage it stopped giving cooling. Serviceman refilled the gas and again after one week the gas leakage problem came as the servicemen are untrained and they not take any matter seriously.

I have purchased a cooler last year during the period of warranty I have taken 5 services just because of the bad quality of the product.
after expiring the warranty for my product I have debt 3000 rupaye last 5-6 month. but still product not working good.

I,m giving feedback about voltas product and services.

I guess voltas have every product bad quality and bad service center. unskilled engineers. So I said everyone please doesn't purchase any product from voltas company. maintenance cost is high.

We are purchased 1.5 ton 185EYR modal from Snapdeel 29 March 2016.After 1 year gas leaking in outer unit.I conduct local voltas service centre. They are told , condenser change in compulsory, I will be charged worth Rs 7000 paid. Still 2 years after 23rd May 2019 AC which is not cooling. First I conduct local authorities Voltas Service centre,He said, Indor Unit condenser open. and want to Rs 3000.Again I will be conducting customer service no xxxxx4555 . After 24 hrs local authorities come again and repair my AC and they are taking charges Rs 2500/.on25 May 19. Two days Woking normal cooling, again 27 May 2019 AC which is not cooling. Again I conduct service persoin, He told (Recommend), purchase New other brands AC and install my home.
Very bad experience we buy VOLTAS AC which is not working, very bad services of VOLTAS. Next time we can't purchase Voltas AC.Buying an ÀC from VOLTAS turning out be harassment for me.
I advised to all customers please don't purchase VOLTAS AC.

cooling problem

on 24th April 2019 we paid for change of cooling coil and refilling of gas for 1.5 Ton split A.C. Thereafter there is no cooling and no one is attending despite repeated complaints.

need to be changed remote as not functioning form installation.

Very sad to put a complaint as because I had purchased Voltage AC on 6 th May'19 from Rajesh time centre , Baloda Bazar , Raipur and from beginning of installation the remote was not working and complaint given so many time. But till date I can not get new remote.

After lot of efforts and phone calls, service guy came for fixing the issue in air conditioner. But, after 4 days that machine is again gone and AC's compressor isn't working again. I had bought inverter ac 1mth back & in 1 mth already 1 time servicing done..again no colling&noise problem is there..the service executive Mr Rajkumar Rajak called me & told that he was the advise executive who was come last time for this problem..I spoke that why again same problem start after 10 days of servicing.that means he was not doing good servicing last time..so he argued with me.
As per my view Mr rajkumar Rajak is the worst service executive in voltas because he has no knowledge that how to speak with customer..I want senior service executive from your side immediately.. &don't send Mr rajkumar Rajak..

Issue of cooling with voltas one ton ac

I have bought voltas ac last year in 30th May 2018 and till now I have raised so many complain for its cooling. When I bought the ac after few days I have complained in customer care but the technician said there is no problem. This last few months I have to complain every time for its cooling but the same problem start after few days even after the service. Secondly yesterday I called voltas customer care its senior manager who was area service manager was so rude and even didn't knew how to talk to a woman and disconnected the phone on my face. I am helpless. Kindly seek to the matter and provide some solution.

Bad company, Bad staff, Bad Service, and Thuggish Behavior

It's true and I fully agree with Pallavi Rawat. Their service is worst. My voltas ac malfunctioned more than a month ago as well and the same thing happened, I called customer care after a spark and smoke coming out of AC, they sent two guys who came and checked and said it is absolutely fine and no smoke ever comes out of AC, it's simply impossible. They took money and gave no receipt and left. I started AC which started fine but stoped cooling after 20-25 minutes, I called again, they sent 2 different guys again who checked again and found a certain part may have malfunctioned, they said, it will cost 6000 rupees and it will take a week for the parts to arrive, I paid rupees 2000 in advance and been waiting for them come and fix but they didn't, I called 3-4 times in the meantime at about a weeks interval and they always stalled and extended the date a week ahead.

I thought if they can't fix it, atleast they can return the money so I can ask some local repair shop to fix so we don't have bear the unbearable scorching summer torture but they refuse to return money and give no explanation for delay. This is clear cheating on behalf of company which claims to best AC company in India. I am gonna research the procedure of filing case against company, I would have made a case already but I have never been to court and do not understand how it function or I would have already done but now it's time to participate in the legal system.

I had purchased 1.5ton window ac and the first free service date was near so I called up ur customer care no but it says the number is not in service. Now my first free service date has expired. How am I to avail this service. I called up on other voltas no but all r saying to call on the toll free no provided on the warranty card. So do try to update or provide new toll free customer care no or any contact no to call. Please take action at the earliest.

Poor After Sales Support

We bought a 1-5 ton split Ac from Raipur Electronics at Kharagpur on 12/05/2019. However, the AC installation is becoming an hassel. On the date of purchase, the salesperson of Raipur Electronics told us the AC will be installed next day and they would send a person to do the same.. However later Raipur Electronics informed us ( after we called the Raipur Electronics), that they will not do the installation and a service personnel from Voltas will be installing the AC. On 14/05/2019, we received a call from call center of Voltas, which informed us that the scheduled installation will be next day - i.e today(15/05/2019). Whole of today, we waited for installation and nobody contacted us. Now we have received an SMS informing that " we have requested for reschedule beyond 6 days" and we have to "call again for a new schedule". I am quite surprised as we have not requested for any rescheduling. Buying an AC from Voltas turning out be a harassment for me.

On 2 May 2019, I call service agent again to do something in this matter but he starts arguing with me and after that, he did not pick my phone.

Do something in this matter ASAP.

Very pathetic service

Very pathetic service by Voltas. Given a complain for ac not cooling.my complain is not resolved yet after 20 days. Customer care not aware of anything. Service area manager is also clueless of the complain.

3-4 months back i refilled gas and the same thing i did last year.Again now ice is forming and ac is not cooling.Is this a joke going on that everytime i will refill gas for rs2200.I have ac from hitachi also and it is running fine for 5 years.They always sent their own technicians and you guys sent 3rd party some Arvind Trading or something.These guys don’t know how to fix a thing.I will take this matter seriously now and i am not going to pay a single penny this time.If you don’t fix this by your own technician (Voltas) without any payment then i am going to take action.

Request of Replacement of Faulty Coil

Hi,

I have taken Voltas AC on 27-June-2017 and after few days only I have given my very first complaint that the AC has a whistling sound but the engineer came and told me that there is no problem and if it is cooling then everything is fine. Then in last week of August, 2017 it was not cooling, and after waiting for few days in first week of Sep, 2017 I have given complaint that AC is not cooling and the engineer who's been assigned told me that the GAS has leaked out, and it need to be refilled by the installation guys of the shopkeeper from where I purchased. But shopkeeper told me that I have asked for the Voltas guys to Install it in my house. Both of them keep telling the same for few days and then I also stopped following it as summer season has gone. Then in April, 2018 I again raised a complaint in Voltas and went to that shopkeeper as well to kindly look into my problem and then in May, 2018 Voltas guys came and refilled the gas in my AC. Then again after a month it stopped cooling as the compressor was not getting started. As this AC was installed in my Drawing Room I use it very less and our Chopra garden area is famous for low voltage, So I thought that due to less voltage the compressor is not getting chance to start and therefore it is not able to do the cooling and I kept on waiting for few days and finally given a complaint in July, 2018. And the engineer told me that the gas has leaked again and he took the unit to his office and reported me a minor leakage in the coil.
So my request is to please change this coil as it was there from the very first day and the whistling sound is coming because of that minor leakage and the gas tool a month to get leaked. Moreover, as it was difficult to find he simply checked the line which was OK and he refilled the gas in May, 2018. And when I again raised the issue he thought to check it thoroughly and found out this problem. And the same is with me that a customer does not know anything technically and has to flow as per direction.
So again I would ask it as a favour to kindly change this coil without any charges.

Quality and Poor service response for AC

Bought an AC from Dealer ABT Links from Kollam on 26/04/2018. It was delivered with such poor quality checks that the sensor cables inside were cut by rats and Air flow direction flap pin broken. The complaint number is XXX18042606869. After that a technician came and checked the AC and found the complaint is genuine and left. After that since that day no response or action. Never thought the Voltas is delivering products to customers with such poor quality checks and pathetic service response.
