VU premium 50' led tv not working

I purchased VU premium Android 50"TV by Flipkart on oct 08 2019, four month before display problem came, I called VU service man. That person was took my tv,He asked ordered some parts I gave some amount till now not ready my TV, he asked spares is not available. I need immediately solve my problem

WORST service by VU. Tie up with goons as service people

I bought "Vu Play 109cm (43 inch) Full HD LED TV" & "Extended Warranty 2 Year by Flipkart Protect" from flipkart in Jan 2019. Total warranty 3 years [1+2].
Now after 21 months the TV malfunctioned. I contacted flipkart. They told me to register complaint with jeeves which I promptly did, request ID : CLJP21102000074.
But even after 5 days received no response from them. Upon again calling them they told me it is not covered under warranty without giving any details and disconnected. Even after 7 days now no one has provided any intimation or details regarding the complaint.

Very frustrated and hopeless to see flipkart selling such products by their brand name "Flipkart Protect". The name is a fraud.

Installation Cancelled and No one is installing

I purchased Vu Premium 108cm 43 inch Full HD LED Smart Android TV from flipkart. Placed an order on 28th July. It took 10 days to deliver. 7 Days for installation. After 2 days, screen stopped displaying. Raised a return request. After one week, seller denied return. Automatically it got changed to replacement request. Support person from vu, who had come to check the issue didn't uninstall. After 14 days, replaced product came for delivery but since existing tv was not uninstalled, replacement delivery wasn't performed. After 7 days uninstallation happened. (Interesting thing is vu support local calling and saying if you can arrange local uninstallation and on denying that from our end, he got furious).
Further installation of replaced product got automatically cancelled after 7 days (when local vu support confirmed that it was same person - it was deliberate move).
Flipkart says to get that installed on your own. Company support says to go to flipkart.
One of the worst support and service from both VU and Flipkart.
Won't recommend to buy such things from Flipkart and of course not VU if this is the quality of service they offer.

VU Android 49 Inch 4K Ultra TV Not Working

I have raised ticket number VU763680 on 04th September 2020 on non working of my TV screen. After chasing customer care executive couple of times, technician visited to inspect my issue on 08th September 2020 and found that there is panel issue in my TV. It was very shocking moment for me because TV has not yet completed 2 years and there is big issue on it.

After having healthy discussion with technician, he promised that on next day he will arrange panel quotation and replacement offer against the same. On 15th Sept I have received panel quotation for Rs. 27000/- from Kishore Dhonta (VU team).
Does it make sense?????
27k is not small amount Sir. This TV has not yet been completed 2 years and you asking me to pay 27000/- for panel replacement. Better you take it back and give me 27000/-

I had purchased this TV with Rs. 34190/- on 24/10/2018 and now you are again telling me to pay 27000/- for repairing purpose within 2 years. Does this justify???

Moreover, this model is no longer exist in market which clearly indicate that this product has big problem hence company has stopped production against the same. I have not yet received any single call to discuss this issue which clearly indicate that company does not bother about customer satisfaction.

There is no any other options left except to file case against fraud happened with me. I had invested all my savings to buy this TV which was my biggest mistake ever I done in my life. Due to Covid 19 issue, my job is already not secure and I am getting half salary due to work down and you are demanding excess money for repairing purpose.

I had purchased VU Pixelight 138 CM (55inch) Led Smart TV from flipkart on 02.03.2020.within six month only I faced the repair problem in my Television,complain no-VU 751546 from 22.08.20 my Television is under repair and regularly I am doing folloup with VU customer person and there team members, but nobody is taking serious about the matter even not giving response of my phone calls, So still my television is under repair.So my personal suggestion is don’t buy this waste product. Chose another company in the place of VU.

I want to install my new vu LED TV plz arrange the engineer. I m received it from Tata CLIQ on 11 sep but still not install by engineer all no. Is unreachable and customer care no. Was just listen music and cut that's it if u knot provide service so why u mentioned it. I m arrange it itself.

I took the TV 7 months ago, I have been experiencing a voice problem for some time, when I talk to customer service, I am not getting a call nor an answer to the email. It feels bad when you get an extra warranty and the company doesn't care about you.

I hv purchased 43GA ultraHD smart android LED tv from Amazon on 27 Oct 2019 ..today it fallen from the wall n screen broken. It is under warranty but still no resolution provided.

New VU Smart TV Not working after two weeks

My TV is only 2 weeks old and now there is no picture at all, we could here sound coming from the TV without any display. Was really shock to see such complaints on a new TV and that too only 2 weeks old.

My tv 50" is not working , i brought just 3 months before and ot suddenly shut down. I contacted the customers service and they registered my complaint but nobody has come to make it workimg..

Poor Service

I purchased 55” VU UHD 2 years back since one week horizontal lines are coming and flickering the screen continuously. Complaint lodged and service centre is answering that technician will be visiting today but no body visited so far. I have faced similar problem when TV was purchased, after continuous phone calls they took 10 days to instal. The service of VU is hopeless and ridiculous. Don’t buy these products and inform all your near and dear for the poor service of the Chinese company.

VU Forty nine INCH ANDROID TV PANEL NOT WORKING

I bought VU 49 INCH 4K ANDROID TV for Rs,37,000/- one and half years ago. but now Tv not working. Service engineer told that PANEL PROBLEM..to change that they asked Rs.27,000/- also they got 600 Rs as visiting charges. Even my EMI STILL GOING ON...But TV GONE BEFORE THAT. Highly confused...Dont know what to do

Lines on the screen

I bought a vu TV in 29 march 2017 with in one year had to change the main supply board after few months again there where horizontal lines appeared on the screen and the TV was replaced on warranty.
Now since march again there is vertical lines appearing on the screen and the warranty expires on march 29 2020 and due to lockdown I could not connect the vu TV office. I even tried the toll free number, it was only after the lockdown open I could contact the goa office n I mailed concerned person.
I received the mail stating that the warranty has expired and have to pay the charges even it was lockdown they don't accept it under warranty.

We received call from service center and within 1 hour my problem was solved.

Very worst

I bought 55 inches TV last year.now it is not working.when I check with them, they are saying that there was panel problem.hence it will get 35500 rs to replace the panel.I bought it by 49000 rs.they were not responding as I am follow up last 1 and half months.

Repair of my TV

I had put in a complaint as I find the remote and the TV sensor seems to be having a problem. I was requested for a serial number. I explained that as i am alone at home i will not be able ro lift the TV to locate the Serial number. Also i did not have the bill as i had purchased the TV in Vadodara from Croma while setting up home there. After which we moved back to Mumbai. Unfortunately the phone executive was unable to understand or refused to understand and register my complaint. Despite my asking to be transferred to an higher authority to explain my situation the phone was not transfered and I was told that my complaint would not be attended to!

This has made me think whether I ever want to purchase another VU product with such shabby treatment of a customer. I have in the past bought at 3 TV but I will not purchase another unit!
