Dear sir,I , Basudev Sahoo,wants to avail the online ticket reservation and other facilities available in here. For this I have been suggested by a friend to register into irctc and accordingly I deed so. I have already received the user id and password on my above e-mail id, but not on my mobile number which I have provided.Whenever I am trying to log in ,it provides a message that "your mobile number has not been verified".Please suggest me necessary steps which I might have skipped so that my registration will be successful.

login issue & e-ticket cancellation

Dear Sir/madam
Am facing quite an issue with the site. I have two logins (sabby2907 & kousalya77)
a) in one login it is not updating the profile, wherein am unable to book
b) created another login and did the booking, it asked for password change, which I did , however once with a new password (given "n" number of times) it is not allowing me to login, did password re-set, still system says couldnot re-set your password.
c) now due to unavoidable circumstance, I need to cancel my ticket, which am unable because, the login created for booking got locked and couldn't operate.
Please please please for heaven sake, help me in a) getting update my 1st login and b) re-set the pwd for the second login. Tomorrow is the journey, getting a feel, have lost my money and not able cancel the ticket

Train No. 12509 on 3/8/2011 from Bangalore Cy(SBC) to New Jalpaiguri(NJP) was cancelled, I have filled TDR on 6/8/2011, Ref. I tried book my Railway ticket on 28-Aug-2011 at 8:05 am from SBC(Bangalore) to STC(Satna) in Sanghamitra Express.
Unfortunately, due to the heavy traffic congestion I couldn't book my ticket but the transaction been happened and the necessary amount of Rs1,449.00- been deducted from my account balance.
Please make a note of the transaction number and refund me the whole amount as soon as poosible as its been deducted for nothing.

Dear sir! i booked 2 tickets through irctc.co.in in 3A on 26th aug. 2011. Train: Jaipur express (from Indore to Jaipur); journey date 29th aug. 2011. Everything regarding the booking procedure was going on smoothly. During the payment through SBI debit card; after filling all the details for banking and on clicking the make payment after a while a blank page appeared showing redirection to banking. but nothing happened thereafter. On confirming from booked history i found no generation of ticket. Failed transaction showed transaction id:0383091660 (settlement requested); and Rs 1410/ debited from my account. An hour ago I was booking my 6 tickets from New Delhi to kishanganj through Train No 22424 for Departure date 03/11/11 and the Transaction ID is 0377223389 but at the last moment due to you server problem I could not get my ticket booked but ultimately the amount Rs. 8060 has been deducted from my Citi Bank credit Card. i talk to the Citi Bank Customer Care. They have given me the approval no. 372187 and told me to talk to IRCTC Customer Care but unfortunately neither your customer care no rings nor responds just silent when dialled. please respond me either book my ticket or refund my money immediately so that I could be able to book another ticket before all the tickets of the same train booked.

On 03 Aug 2011 i booked my reservation through irctc site. i made the payment but the money has been deducted and no reservation made for me. this is first time i faced this problem

and money deducted from my AXIS BANK account is 573/-.

In the cases refuned details says that "Payment Not Received From Bank". if it was not recieved then why money was deducted from my account.
My irctc id is :mangu7

There are so many complaints against irctc and yet they do not bother about it.

how can i get money back??

1. That i have booked one ticket for travelling on 27/08/11 from ranchi to new delhi in rajdhani express from the website irctc.co.in. The ticket was booked on 30/07/11 in the evening. My irctc id is abhishriva.
2. That while i was booking i came across the payment gateway and choosed for paying through sbi debit card, thereafter i entered my details of the said card but when the ticket was getting processed my power got cut and internet got disconnected due to which payment was made but ticket was undelivered then again i tried and succesfully got the reservation in the aforesaid train on the same date as stated above.
3. Thereafter i checked my account and came to know that an amount of rs. 1500 has been cahrged twice.
Therefore in these circumstances it is requested that please refund my extra charged 1500/- rs.

Money not refunded for cancelled ticket

Hello Sir,

I had cancelled an e-ticket on 7/26/2011 using irctc website.
Transaction ID: 0351791388.PNR no for the cancelled ticket 4230011116.
But i did not get any refund for this transaction.
But in the cancellation history , for this particular transaction, status showing as refunded to account.

Same time,cancelled one more ticket and money is refunded in my credit card account for this second transaction.

Dear ROHIT,

Sorry, Like to correct your comment, The amount whould have got Debited from your account, when you do any Transection ( like Buying a tacket via IRCTC ).

This kind of error generally happens when you do internet TXN. No to be panic, this will be always in track with either by IRCTC or by the respective Bank. the only steps you have to take is CALL IRCTC help line and inform for the same. once you call them, thay will ask for the reference number and you have to provide them with all the details. and in some working days, the AMOUNT will be re Creditied to your respective acoount from where it got deducted.

Your ticket not booked but payment deducted from your account.

When anybody books ticked with choice and transaction not completes due to non-availability of choice, generally amount deducted from your account and transaction not complete due to choice. Amount will be refunded by irctc within 72 hours. You need not to worry.

your second transaction: They deducted amount for your confirmed booking as you have received a confirmed ticket.
