Dear sir,
I purchased Bravia 3 model 55S30 on 03 nov 2024 but within use of 10 days it started malfunctioning. I registered a complaint on 16 Oct 2024 for resolution of problem, but still no contact was made by Soni representative after technician visit. Really I am feeling very regretted after purchasing TV and it is my request to you that is it worth to purchase a expensive TV from Soni if it has such poor customer resolutions service plan for customer grievance.

SONY TV The Worst Product available in India
I brought BRAVIA KDL-43W950D in 2017 and display gone faulty in 2020 (What a super classic quality product SONY) and after lots of escalation and Twitts finally they told me to replace T-Con Card which was around 7-8 thousand and I have done it through service center (Worst service), again now after 3-4yrs same display problem has started and again I have escalated and now same T-con card need to be replace which is around 13-14K, what a joke. I have directly mailed to sony India that this time I will be going to consumer forum else they should replace the total unit or they should give in writting that there so called SONY products are weakest in the market and doesn't last long not more than 2-4 yrs.
So request all victims to take up in consumer forum or else SONY will not stop cheating and fooling people around the globe.
Poor Service and change of part of my Sony Home Theatre
I gave my Sony Home Theatre for repair to authorized Sony Home Theatre Service centre. After 3 weeks of reciept of my set, which had no sound problem, i was contacted by the service centre at 42 Gariahat Road, Kolkata. I was informed that the set is ready for collection after repair. I was repeatedly told that the CD section may not function properly. Whereas when the centre took the set for repair, they informed me that as problem of sound was there they will not touch the CD section. The CD player was perfectly playing when i gave it for repair
On 25 Feb 2021, I collected my set . At home when played the the CD,after 10 minutes it stopped playing. When i opened the top cover housing, i found that the CD player was changed from the original Sony player to a duplicate one.When i took up with the centre, various excuses were given and denied.
The Service centre is cheating customers and changing original parts with Duplicate ones.
Very poor quality SONY TV unreasonable repair charges
I purchased SONY TV and it stopped working within 2 years. When I contacted your service center Chandigarh JOB NO - JO1645425 to find fault. I was told mother board has gone and need replacement. I was further shocked when they asked me that charges will be Rs 7764. I brought back my TV without repair.
Is this the quality and customer service? i felt like a LOOT and cheating.
Sony management must look into this and resolve.

Hi All,
As a good wisher, write to you all, Never purchase Sony product which i made a mistake.
Purchase Sony HT-RT40 home theater, but after a month the product stopped working.I contacted the technical support and they raised a request. After 15 days the technician visited my place and took the product. Now its been 15 days the product is laying on the service center and i am trying to reach out to the service center and customer care, No response from them.
Please suggest how i can escalate this case. Else i will have only one option going to consumer forum.

Mother board faulty during SW upgrade pathetic product from SONY
Dear Team,
My Sony Led TV KDL-43W800D suddenly stopped working. It was showing only SONY LOGO after power on.
I spoke to SONY customer care on 28th dec 2019.
They performed basic troubleshooting and reset but TV was still showing black screen with SONY LOGO.
Later on I logged a complaint57787073 with SONY. On 30th DEC 2019, SONY Technician visited my home to check the TV and he informed that TV mother Board is gone faulty because of SW bug and they are saying it will take 11000 rs to replace the mother board.
This is ridiculous that entire mother board got faulty due to SW bug within 3 yrs of purchase. This is really illogical that SW issue damaged entire mother board this is making big hole in consumer pockets. I have seen lot of complaints on internet for this issue and hundreds of people have to bear high cost of hardware repair.
My 15 years old LG TV is working perfectly fine and this piece of Crap gone within 3 yrs of purchase..
Really pathetic quality product from SONY, Service center is calling very proactively to shell out 11000 rs for repair.. Intentions are very much clear...

T-con board faulty
I agree with many of you views that service of Sony is very pathetic. I also face similar issue of no picture in Sony tv and when complained I was informed that your T-CON board is faulty and it will cost 16k to replace it . They took 50% advance but after some time making excuses that Sony is facing difficulty in getting T-con board hence this can not be repaired . It’s ridiculous. It’s seems that Sony is pushing such software bugs from backend intentionally after expiry of Warranty period . Their service Centre are least bother to solve customer pain they are more focused on closure of service request raises by the customer

Extremely bad quality LED tv
I purchased an expensive Sony Bravia LED TV in 2014 for Rs 50,000 and have already changed the motherboard and led light within 2 years. This has cost additional Rs 20,000.
The servicing centre says that they cannot do anything. If I have to spend money every two years, why should I buy an expensive Sony TV, which is advertised as the best?
I demand an enquiry as to why does motherboard gets spoilt in 2 years. Also will write to consumer complaints cell. Sony is also not upfront while receiving complaints and their service person also delay visit on site after complaining.

23/08/2017 I have purchase "sony BDV E4100" home theater. But I had a problem of subwoofer in 7 months, but it went as if it was in the warranty,
but then after 2 months back I encountered the same problem, she also showed up in the warranty.
But for the third time, the same suspicion came on 06/09/2018.
So, who is responsible for the problem of three times in one year ...?
I had a complaint earlier on sonycare but I did not get any response.
#Let me change the whole system, return my money, otherwise increase the warranty.

I had purchased Sony Bravia TV W672E through Amazon on 21st July & registered installation request on 23rd July, my request ID - *** , Till date my TV is not installed yet even after so many follow ups with Local Sony service center.I had called them more than 20times, I had requested them to come for installation after 6.30pm or on Sunday due to my office working hours,but they had denied my request. chipping off of the Sony Brand Logo on my Bravia TV
I have a Sony Bravia RMT- TX1111P model . The Y from the Sony Logo on the logo panel came out while the house maid was cleaning the tv with a cloth a few months back . Since then I have tried sticking the Y on the logo panel but it comes off every now and then . Now we have lost the Y and the SONY logo panel looks very odd without the Y. Request if this could be fixed from your service centre .

Horrible experience with SONY Bravia LED
I had bought a Sony Bravia LED KDL-40W650D around September 2016. Not even 1.5 years have elapsed and the TV has started giving us problems. After watching for 20-25 mins, lines starts appearing on the TV screen and the screen freezes (sound continues in the background). This is just unacceptable from a brand like SONY, whose TV are the most expensive ones as compared to the other brands.
The service guys says that the display panel is faulty n may require replacement. This would cost around 15 to 20 thousand.
I have lost all my trust in SONY...if you are charging premium prices for your products then atleast you should manufacture quality products.
Please don't buy any SONY products.....

Could you please depute your service person to understand the problem and put TV back in order. TV has developed this problem just three years after its purchase. Sony is known for its brand image. In this connection Your Davanagere Service provider sent a technician to my house. He told that Said T V set requires cleaning and has dust and insects in box. He wish to charge Rs.1100/-. But I told that this Service charge is too high but he told that this sony company authorized services and customer has to pay that much of amount. I WAS TOLD TO BY THE DEALER M/S M.K.ELECTRONICS AND REFRIGRATION, SHOP NO.28, BASRURKAR MARKET, MOTI BAGH.NEW DELHI-011-24107274 THAT WITHIN AN HOUR OF MY PURCHASE OF THE LED TV SET ON 13-11-2012 THE TECHNICIAN FROM THE SERVICE CENTRE OF SONY WOULD REACH MY RESIDENCE AND INSTAL THE TV SET. HOWEVER,I AM SURPRISED THAT THE SONY COMPANY WHICH HAS BEEN PRODUCING TV SETS ON A VERY LARGE SCALE CANNOT ARRANGE TO INTAL A TV SET IN THE CUSTOMERS RESIDENTIAL PREMISES WITH IN AN HOUR OF ITS PURCHASE FROM THEIR SONY DEALERS/RETAIL DEALERS.IT IS A SHAMEFUL ACT ON THE PART OF SONY IN THE MATTER. Complaint of poor picture quality and also poor service
(1) I had bought SONY 32"LED TV model K 330 X from 'CROMA' Pacific Mall, Ghaziabad on 22.10.12, TV installed at my residence on 24.10.12, I regret to inform you that the person came for installation did not give any DEMO.
(2) I lodged a complaint on 01.11.12 about poor quality of pictures, third class colors, wrong/improper dimension of pictures on customer care no 18001037799 under complaint ID no. 11847981 and also talked to Mr. Mohit in your technical assistance wing, who told me that for this small work no Engineer will go, but on my repeated request he assured me to send an Engineer within 48 hrs. Again sorry, nobody turned up till today even after passing 120 hrs.
(3) Today again I made a complaint on Customer Care no. 18001037799 to Ms. Yishu at 14.33 hrs under Complain ID no. 011932040 regarding same problems in my TV as mentioned above. I hope this time a World reputed company like You will not disappoint me and will solve my problems, otherwise I would have no option to knock the door of Hon'ble Consumer Court.

Totally unsatisfied with service center
I have launched a complaint with Sony Indi on toll free number on 6th July 2012. Next day a technician came to my home (Ms Sunil Sing). He has taken the visiting charges of 100 Rs took a part for repair with him.
Its not more than a week still the technician has not come back. I at least call Service cente 10 times a day. Every time I get separate answer, 2 days back one of the technician (Mr Irfan) said that your part has come after repair and they will come to fit that in 1-2 hours but no one turned back. I called them next day then I got different answer that the part has not comed back.
It a totally miss managed service that Sony India is giving. I am totally unsatisfied with the service. I remember Sony war known fron its brand and service but I think now a days its not. I am totally unsatisfied

After upgrading to Android 4 touch sounds and screen lock sounds got disabled. when ever i call customer care they are advising to reset the setting. how many times we need to this. very disappointing. also the call history and contacts display has become very slow.

playing USB movies which are in different vedio format

I have purchased Sony bravia 46EX520 LED TV on 24th march 2012 from Dubai. I want to know that how USB Movies can be played because when i tried to play movies which are in .mkv format it doesnt support. Also with other video format like avi or mpg it shows the message "Play back not available".So what does the message mean? and how can i able to watch the movies with all video fomat. An urgent reply will be very much appreciated.

Different video format
You purchased Sony Bravia 46EX520 LED TV from 24th March 2012. But your TV will not support all formats such as .mov,.mpg, .avi, .3gp, or any other formats. You TV shows the message "Playback not available". This message meant that your TV does not support .mkv, .avi, .mov or .mpg format as ithe format is not installed in Sony TV. It only support .mp4 format very well. I have brought Sony Bravia 32BX320 LCD TV and my TV support only .mp4 format very well. There will be no problem in watching any movies in .mp4 format. Not only Sony TV but all TVs don't support .mov, or .mkv or .avi etc. You can download any hd movies(720p or 1080p) only from utorrent in .mp4 format.
My TV is not showing up anything
I have bought a new KDL-40EX720 3D HDTV from usa. when i connected to supply by using 240-110v step down converter nothing is showing up on the screen.
Initially red light blinked, after some time i tried to switch on the supply again and this tie green light is showing up for about 1.5min but still there is nothing on the screen.

HD TV audio problem
I have KLV 32EX400 HD TV and DAVDZ510 home theatre.also I have airtel HD set top box.my HT and TV are connected through HDMI cable.I have connected normal cable to TV.also set top box is connected at HDMI 2.An optical cable from set top box is connected to set top box to get 5.1 audio output on home theatre system.Also to get normal cable's audio on home theatre system,audio output is taken from TV through RCA cable and connected to home theatre system.now set top box channel's audio is coming fine on 5.1 speakers.But normal cable's audio is not coming at 5.1 speakers even when set top box is switched off from its remote.but cable's audio is coming fine when se top box power supply is removed.how to rectify this.please tell me.

I gave my set Model No. MHC -VX-101, Sl. No. 527961. on 8.9.2011. My job no. is 08si(i)bl 11300. Subsequently I was informed that an amount of Rs 4200.00 shall be charged for the repair and they asked me to pay some advance. Consequently I paid Rs 2000.00 on 20-09-2011. But strangely and most unfortunately your Authorised Service Centre is yet to deliver my Audio System. They are saying that the delay is due to late receipt of required parts from Sony. They are now saying that the cost of the part is still more and they may not deliver the System before Saturday. What is this? Is this the type of Service you render to your customers? Is it natural for a Service Centre to take more than TWO MONTHS to repair an Audio System, that too from a reputed brand like SONY? I am completely disgusted. You may please let me know the actual situation after knowing from your above-mentioned Service Centres. An urgent reply will be very much appreciated.

Sony TV Bravia poor product, not durable and plenty of complaint
I brought Sony TV Bravia in 2018, by paying 70K and within warranty period had problem and they replaced the part. Now again there is problem and they are not responding to our complaint which is registered. Local service people advice us to buy new one rather servicing it. I decided to not purchase any Sony TV which are very expensive and not durable and I advise others the same.
Are you trying to install
